Constitutional Amendment to overturn Citizens United

New Hampshire became the 20th State to Support a Constitutional Amendment to Overturn the 2010 Citizens United Decision and Restore our Democracy.

Today’s Victory in New Hampshire is the Product of years of Organizing in the Granite State.

New Hampshire have passed 82 Local Resolutions in support of an Amendment, which would establish that Corporations Don’t have a Right to participate in Elections and that Campaign Money does Not Equal Speech.

Thousands of Residents attended Hearings, called State Lawmakers, Signed Petitions, and turned out for Demonstrations.

We need Co-Sponsor H.J.Res. 2, the Democracy for All Amendment.

The Democracy For All Amendment (H.J.Res. 2) has been introduced by Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL, 22nd District), and already has 101 Cosponsors. This proposed Amendment would allow Congress and the States to Regulate and Set Limits on the Raising and Spending of Money in our Elections, as well as Legally distinguish between the Rights of People and Corporations.
