OR Could Enact the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact Bill

The National Popular Vote Bill (NPVIC) would Guarantee the Presidency to the Candidate who Receives the Most Popular Votes in All 50 States and the District of Columbia. To do this, you need enough States with 270 Electoral Votes to Send their Electors to the Electoral College.

It has been Enacted into Law in 14 States and D.C. with 189 Electoral Votes (CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, RI, VT, WA).

The Oregon Legislature Completed Action on the National Popular Vote Bill, and sent the Bill to Governor Kate Brown (D), who has Publicly stated that she will Sign the Bill.

The House vote was 37-22. The Senate Approved with 17-12 in April.

If Oregon Enacts the Bill, there will be 15 States and D.C. with 196 Electoral Votes that have enacted the Bill, including 5 Small States, 7 Medium-sized States, and 4 Big States.

So with 74 more Votes, we could Elect a President via the National Popular Vote in 2024.
