WA State Activates National Guard in Case of Election Violence


The Governor of Washington State, Jay Inslee (D) on Friday, said He was Activated some Members of the National Guard, to be on Stand-By after Information and Concerns regarding potential Violence related to the 2024 Election.

The State, where Kamala Harris (D) is expected to Defeat Trump (R) according to Polling, where Two ballot Boxes were set on Fire earlier in the week. Early Voting is available, and more than 2 million have already Cast their Ballots, according to the Election Lab at the University of Florida.

"Based upon general and specific information and concerns regarding the potential for violence or other unlawful activity related to the 2024 general election, I want to ensure we are fully prepared to respond," Inslee wrote in a Letter published on His Website on Friday.

Hundreds of Ballots were Damaged or Destroyed, by the use of the Incendiary Device in the Drop-Box in the City of Portland and Vancouver.

In Vancouver, a Fire Suppressant Device didn't Activate and Hundreds of Ballots were Lost. Authorities are checking nearby Security Cameras to try and find those Responsible.

In Portland, Three Ballots out of Hundreds were Damaged, Multnomah County Elections Director Tim Scott told Reporters, after Suppression Devices inside the Ballot Box almost immediately Extinguished the Flames, ignited by an Incendiary Device. Washington Election Officials noted that Fire Suppression Devices in the Vancouver box didn't appear to work as well.

Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey said that about 475 Damaged Ballots were recovered from the Drop Box in Vancouver. Kimsey said that for the "vast majority" of those Ballots, Officers were Confident they would be able to Identify the Voters. After the wet Ballots dry out, Officials will be better equipped to assess the Damage.

The State and the Counties keep track of every Ballot Sent and Received, so they can tell whether Someone's got Lost or Destroyed.

Voters who returned Ballots to the Dropbox Located at the Fisher's Landing C-Tran Transit Center in Vancouver between Saturday at 11 a.m. and Monday at 3 a.m. PT, have been Advised by Kimsey to Check their Ballot's Status Online at votewa.gov, where they can see whether their Ballot has been received.
