The Biden Administration late Wednesday, expanded Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuela Migrants.
This makes 472,000 Migrants in the U.S., newly eligible to access Work Authorization, including an estimated 60,000 Newcomers in New York.
The Decision was long and loudly urged by New York Officials, who celebrated it as a step to getting many Migrants on the path to Legal Work, and out of Taxpayer-Funded Emergency Housing.
