This summer and fall, Common Cause/New York is teaming up with Rock the Vote, a National Organization that fuses Pop Culture, Music, Art, and Technology to build Long-term Youth Political Power for an exciting New Project that is called Generation Vote NYC.
This Project will Activate and Engage Millennial Voters, ages 18-34. in New York City, focusing on how Young Voters can be an Influential Force on important Issues in the upcoming New York City Municipal Elections.
The Project will Develop:
- A Candidate Questionnaire, the answers to which will be featured on a New Online Platform which Rock the Vote is creating.
- Co-Sponsor or Co-Host Candidate Forums.
- Engage in a Variety of Registration and Voter Engagement Activities directed to Young Voters throughout the City.
