South Dakota Voter Protection and Anti-Corruption Amendment

Last November, Voters passed America's first Statewide Anti-Corruption Act in South Dakota. It was the most sweeping Statewide Anti-Corruption Law ever passed. It stopped Political Bribery, established an Independent Ethics Commission, and prevented Special Interests from wining and dining Politicians.

But the Political Establishment in the 4th most corrupt State in America didn't want to change the Status Quo. So they announced a fake State of Emergency and Repealed the Anti-Corruption Act.

But some extraordinary South Dakotans decided they're not going to take it anymore. So they're going back to the Ballot in 2018 with an Amendment that the Politicians cannot mess with.

This is a battle for Democracy. If the Amendment fails, it's another nail in the coffin for American Democracy. It will confirm that Establishment Politicians can reject the will of the people with no consequences. But if it passes, it will prove the opposite: that when the People speak, our Lawmakers have to listen. That We The People can take back Control of our own Government and our own Destiny.

First, South Dakotans will have to collect enough Signatures from across the State to get the Amendment on the Ballot. The Signature drive will begin this Summer.

Then the Movement will have a massive battle on its hands. The Political Establishment is stacked against them, and their opposition includes the same Billionaire Special Interests who tried to stop the Anti-Corruption Act last time.

Together, we've proven that when Conservatives and Progressives come together, we can fix Corruption State by State, all the way to Washington D.C.
