Appeals Court Rules Trump's Golf Course Owes More Than $400,000

This past summer a Miami-Dade County Circuit Court ordered Trump to pay over $400,000 to a Florida Paint Shop after trying to stiff them out of Monies owed in relation to work on some Renovations for one of Trump’s Golf courses.

Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto, Presiding over a Lawsuit related to Unpaid Bills brought by a Local Paint Store against the Trump National Doral Miami Golf Resort, ordered Trump’s Company to pay the Doral Mom-and-Pop shop nearly $300,000 in Attorney’s Fees.

All because, according to the Lawsuit, Trump allegedly tried to stiff “The Paint Spot" on its last payment of $34,863 on a $142,530 Contract for Paint used in the Renovation of the Home of Golf’s famed Blue Monster two years ago.

Back in 2014, The Paint Spot put a Lien on Trump’s Property after he tried to say that, despite a Contract, his Golf Course had paid enough. Amazing. This turned into more and more Legal Fees for The Paint Spot and led to the ballooning amount owed by Trump.

Last week an Appeals Court ruled that Trump still owes this money even though he and his Team would rather continue to shirk their responsibilities by wasting more of everyone’s money.

The Ruling was issued by Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal in Miami. Trump National Doral Miami now must pay The Paint Spot the original $34,863 plus Attorney’s Fees of about $390,000 or $424,863.

“The case should never have reached this stage,” Daniel Vega, Attorney for The Paint Spot, said in an interview. The property’s owner "refused to ever consider any type of reasonable settlement," he said.
