Congressional Term Limits Update

The Term Limits Convention's mission is to promote Term Limits on Congress (USTL) that can be implemented through utilizing the Article V Convention, a Constitutional tool which allows states to obtain amendments without Congress needing to approve the amendment. The campaign will result in two-thirds of State Legislatures passing resolutions calling for the establishment of a Term Limits Convention. Following this convention, each Member of Congress will be term limited through a National amendment.

Over 80 percent of Coloradans support term limits, including super-majorities of Republicans and Democrats. This could be a great way to bring Americans together for a fundamental change with broad support from the people.

Missouri
USTL is pushing hard in Missouri to get SCR 61/HJR 86 in a floor vote in the State Senate. The bill has passed its committe. Over 1,000 people have already written in to committee members to show their support for the bill. Now the bill needs help again to get a floor vote. There are a few key players who need some convincing on the bill. They are Sen. Bob Onder (District 2), Sen. Gary Romine (District 3), Sen. Dan Brown (District 16), Sen. Jay Wasson (District 20) and Sen. David Sater (District 29). If you live in Missouri please take 30 seconds and CLICK HERE to let these State Senators know you support term limits.
