Senate to Take Up Citizen United Constitutional Amendment

Exactly one month from today, on September 8, the United States Senate will vote on a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.

As of right now, 50 out of 100 senators are on board.

With just one more, the balance will at last tilt away from Citizens United, back toward democracy.

How do we get to that majority tipping point of 51 senators?

At this historic moment, there are five senators who might be persuaded to stand up as champions for We the People of the entire nation.

No matter where you live, add your name to those calling on Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia to be the first of these five, and the historic 51st senator, to support the amendment.

Senator Kaine has the power to move the amendment across the critical threshold of majority support in the Senate.

And you have the power to move Senator Kaine!

Make sure Senator Kaine knows that Americans from coast to coast are counting on him to help prevent our democracy from being taken over by billionaires and Big Business.

CLICK HERE to take action today so that the amendment gains majority support and our movement to defend democracy builds even more momentum.
