Alaska Ballot Rant Backfires

White House Deputy Chief-of-Staff Stephen Miller (R) was Shut-Down by Critics on Social Media after He called the Addition of a Second Dan Sullivan on the Alaska U.S. Senate Ballot “one of the most egregious attacks we have seen on the integrity of American elections.”

Miller’s Statement comes after Trump’s (R) Justice Department (DOJ), at His Direction,Filed a Lawsuit, aimed at Preemptively Blocking the Certification of Alaska’s Election Results if Incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) Loses.

The Trump Administration Claims that Dan J. Sullivan, a Man with a nearly identical Nameas the current Senator, “decided to run for Senator in 2026 as a Republican with the intention of misleading supporters of Senator Sullivan into voting for him.”

The DOJ Argues that some Alaska Voters who Wish to Vote for Dan Sullivan may be Confused and Inadvertently Vote for Dan J. Sullivan.

As many Social Media Users Pointed Out in Response to Miller’s Statement, Sen. Dan Sullivan’s (R) Name appears with “Incumbent” next to it on the State’s Ballot. But Dan J. Sullivan’s Name appears with No Party Affiliation.

Other Critics called out Miller, for Calling the Issue “one of the most egregious attacks we have seen on the integrity of American elections", Pointing to His Role in Writing Trump’s 1/6/2021 Speech before the Insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
