US and Ukraine Deal to Expand Drone Cooperation

this would allow Ukrainian drones to participate in the Pentagon's Drone Dominance program. Drone Dominance is a billion-dollar competition run by the US Department of Defense, where dozens of drones from different manufacturers face challenges simulating battlefield conditions.

The first round was reportedly won by a craft jointly produced by British company Skycutter and Ukrainian drone technology giant Skyfall. However, this agreement would only be the first step into a broader technological collaboration between Washington and Kyiv.

According to Radio Free Europe, this Agreement establishes the Framework for Future Drone Cooperation, the First of its kind between Two Countries. The Deal took Months of, as the Pentagon sought Access to Ukrainian Drone Warfare Innovations.

“This is a giant leap forward for American defense,” Dan Rice, President of American University Kyiv and former Special Adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, told Radio Free Europe.
