Sales like these have happened Before, but there’s never been Drilling in the Arctic Refuge, because the Environmental Movement has been able to Break through to Major Oil Companies, but Nine Bid on this Recent Lease Sale..
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is Home to Polar Bears, Millions of Migratory Birds, and the Pporcupine Caribou Herd that has Sustained the Gwich’in People for Generations. For Decades, the Gwich’in have Led the Movement to Keep the Arctic Refuge Free from Corporate Greed and Extraction, No Ddrilling, No Development.
But Trump’s Vision for the Refuge is Clear: Turn thisSsacred Land into an Industrial Oil Field.
Trump can't Force Oil Companies to Drill the Land. So we need to Remind these Companies that Drilling in the Refuge is Financially Risky, Wildly Unpopular, and Incompatible with a Rapidly Changing Arctic.
We need to Keep Organizing and Keep Public Pressure Up.That means supporting Indigenous and Frontline Communities, Holding Oil Companies and Members of Congress Accountable, and Registering as many {ro-Climate and Pro-Clean Energy Voters as possible, Ahead of 11/2026 Midterm Elections.
