US Humanitarian Deal With UN



The U.S. Announcing another Billion-Dollar Deal with the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Second Funding Commitment to the Organization, since Trump (R) returned to Office. This News is something the Aid World has been waiting for, is an Understatement.

A New “Spatial Repellent” aims to Protect Tens of Millions from Malaria, the U.S. offers Humanitarian aid to Cuba, and Low and Middle-Income Countries urge the World Bank to Extend its Climate Action Plan.

The News will be Announced by U.S. Officials later 5/14/2026. At least $1.5 billion is expected to go Toward more than a Dozen Countries, making the Total U.S. Spend toward United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) since 12/2025 at $3.5 billion.

The Announcement will be made by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz (R) and the Head of the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Assistance Bureau, Jeremy Lewin (D). OCHA Chief Tom Fletcher will join the U.S. Delegation

It’s the Second Installment of Aid to the U.N. Agency since the Trump Administration Overhauled the U.S. Foreign Aid System, with the First, a $2 billion Allotment announced late 12/2025, reaching Countries last 4/2026.

The Latest Batch of Funds will be Parceled Out to Several U.N. Agencies and Private Charities.
