The United Nations Security Council is set to Vote on a Resolution that would Authorise Member States to Use "all defensive measures" to Secure the Strait of Hormuz, which is a Critical Waterway for Global Oil Shipping.
The Resolution would Authorize Member States to Use "all defensive means" Necessary to Secure the Waterway amid Rising Tensions and Rising Oil Prices.
The Final Draft of the Resolution has been Significantly Watered Down, Removing Authorization for Offensive Military Action, and Allowing Only Defensive Measures to Ensure Safe Passage.
The Vote is expected to be Closely Watched, especially given the Opposition from: China, France, and Russia, All Veto-Wielding Countries on the Security Council.
Sorting out the Mess that this War has Left the Strait of Hormuz will be a Delicate and Complex Task.
The Vote comes after Trump (R) posted a Video on Social Media of a Strike on a Bridge in Karaj, Iran, which Local Officials say killed Eight People.
