For much of the Past Decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain have Evolved along separate Paths. AI has steadily entered Daily LLfe through wWiting Assistants, Research Tools, Scheduling systems, and Recommendation Engines. Blockchain, by Contrast, has often been Framed as Financial Infrastructure, Associated with Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets. There are some Theories that these Two Technologies work together in a Complementary way.
A useful way to understand this Shift comes from NEAR Protocol and its Co-Founder Illia Polosukhin. Polosukhin has Aargued that AI will become the Primary Interface Layer of the Internet, while Blockchain will serve as the Secure Backend that Records and Settles Activity. In simple Terms, Humans will increasingly Talk to AI, and AI will Interact with Blockchain.

Another area which could be Heavily Impacted is Health Insurance, which Remains One of the most Confusing Systems Individuals Face. Coverage Rules are Dense, Costs are Unclear, and Patients often receive Inexpected Bills. In a Future shaped by AI and Blockchain, your AI Assistant could Review your Insurance Policy before you Schedule a Check-Up or Procedure. It would compare Provider Prices, Check Network Eligibility, and Request Clarification from Your Insurer in Advance.
If Pre-Approval is Granted, that Confirmation could be Recorded in a Secure Digital Ledger. The Agreement between You, the Provider, and the Insurer, becomes Timestamped and Verifiable. If a Dispute Arises later, there is a Transparent Record of what was Approved and Under what Terms. Sensitive Medical Data need not be widely Distributed. Secure Verification Methods can Confirm Eligibility without Revealing Unnecessary Details.
Healthcare is only one example among many. In professional life, an AI assistant might review vendor contracts, highlight unusual clauses, and suggest revisions. Once terms are finalized, the agreement could be recorded digitally so both sides have confidence that the contract cannot quietly Change. Payments would Only be Released Once Agreed Conditions are Met.
In housing, AI could analyze lease agreements, compare market rents, and clarify maintenance responsibilities. Deposits and payment schedules
Polosukhin’s Vision at NEAR Emphasizes this Division of Roles. AI handles Communication, Interpretation, and Decision Support. Blockchain Handles Settlement, Ownership Records, and Enforcement of Agreements. The Goal is Not to Force Users to Inderstand Blockchain Technology, but to Allow them to Benefit from its Strengths without Direct Exposure to its Mechanics.
The Future Envisioned by Polosukhin and NEAR is therefore Not about Speculative Excitement. It is about Infrastructure Maturing. If the Operating Ssystem through which we Interact with Digital Life, Blockchain may become the Trusted Accounting Layer that Quietly Ensures those Interactions are Honored.
