Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent (R) said the Treasury will move to Block Tax Refunds and certain Tax Credits for People living in the U.S. Illegally, Trump’s (R) Direction.
Bessent said, “Refunded portions of the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, and the Saver’s Match will be blocked.”
Bessent added, “If you’re here illegally, there’s no place for you in our financial system.”
Trump said, “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover.”
Officials have Not explained how the Policy will be Implemented, how Courts will Rule on any Legal Challenges, or which Benefits and Individuals will be Affected.
