He will Oversee Daily Operations, Readiness, and Procurement.
Senate Democrats, including Jack Reed (D-RI), have Criticized the Nomination over Cao’s Past Statements and Campaign Rhetoric.
Cao served 25 years in the Navy, including Deployments with Special Operations Forces on Explosive Ordnance Disposal Missions in: Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia.
