Both Ukraine and Russia continue to Target each other's Energy Facilities, with the latest Attack from Ukraine Damaging and Disrupting Power Supplies in the Russian City of Belgorod.

The Region's Governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, stated that around 40,000 Residents of the Belgorod Region were left without Power following Shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This follows weeks of Russian Strikes against Ukraine's Energy Infrastructure.

Thousands of Belgorod Residents were without Electricity after the Strike, which caused a considerable amount of Damage across Seven Municipalities, Gladkov said.

He said, "We listened to a report from energy officials on the nature of the damage caused by the nighttime shelling of Belgorod. We have significant damage, and the scope of work will be significant."

While Emergency Crews have been Working in the affected Regions, Hospitals in Belgorod have had to Switch to Backup Power. Gladkov also said that Local Authorities coordinated School Operations to deal with the Outages.

Among other Infrastructure Targeted was an Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Region, with a Fire at One of its Buildings, leaving Two People Injured and Receiving Treatment in the Hospital.
