Musk's X Corp has reached a Tentative Settlement with former Twitter Employees, who filed a Class Action Lawsuit, claiming they were Owed $500 million in Severance Pay.
The Settlement was announced in a Court Filing, where both Parties requested a U.S. Appeals Court to Delay an upcoming Hearing to Finalize the Deal.
The Financial Terms of the Agreement were Not Disclosed, but the Settlement would Resolve the proposed Class Action Lawsuit, Filed by Courtney McMillian and Ronald Cooper.
The Lawsuit Alleged that the Company Failed to Adequately Inform Staff about Changes to the Severance Plan, and did Not adhere to the Plan in place, before Musk's Acquisition of Twitter.
The Settlement would Resolve the Case brought by former Twitter Employees who were Dismissed following Musk's Acquisition in 2022.
