Ukraine Presdent Volodymyr Zelenskyy, described Roday’s Meeting as a Success, citing an additional Decision on Joint Production that will Strengthen both Countries.
The Leaders discussed Deepening Defense Co-Operation, which will help Ukraine Secure Stable and Adequate Funding for Defense Projects, particularly the Production of Interceptor and Long-Range Drones. The President's Office also announced New Agreements aimed at Enhancing Ukraine’s Air Defense capabilities.
Zelenskyy thanked Britain for its recent Sanctions Package against Russia, and called for further Restrictions to Prevent the Expansion of Russian Weapons Production. He specifically Advocated for Stronger Ssanctions Targeting the Energy and Banking Sectors, the Shadow Fleet, and Secondary Sanctions on Companies supplying Dual-Use Components for Drones and Missiles.
Zelenskyy provided Britain with a List of Russian Companies involved in Producing the Oreshnik Missile and other Ballistic Missiles and Drones.
“Thirty-nine companies in the Russian defense industrial complex are involved in the production of the Oreshnik. Twenty-one of them are not under sanctions, which means they continue to receive parts and components needed for production. Without these parts, the Oreshnik cannot be produced,” Zelenskyy said.
On June 23rd, Zelenskyy arrived in the UK to further Strengthen Defense Co-Operation. He met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III during His Visit.
Earlier, Zelenskyy Revealed that 39 Russian Defense-Industrial Companies are involved in the Production of the Oreshnik Missile system, with 21 of those Companies Not under Sanctions.
