The New York City Democrate Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) Primary, this year is a 5 Round Vote. To Win a Position on the General Election Ballot, a Winer needs 50% +1 of the Vote.
The Current Count in the 1st Round is: Zohran Mamdani (D) with 43.5%, and Andrew M. Cuomo (D) with 36.4%, with 93% of Votes counted.
Counting will continue on Tuesday, July 1st. It will continue through a possible 4 rounds to get a Candidate.
Cuomo already Droped-Out of the Primary, as He and the current Mayor, Eric Adams, are on the General Election Ballot as Independents.
Most Republicans but 1, bypassed the Primary, and All will run as Independents in the General Election. Curtis Sliwa (R) Won the Primary Uncontested.
