The Senate Confirmed Linda McMahon’s (R) Nomination to Lead the Education Department, Monday in a 51-45 Party-Line Vote. McMahon’s Confirmation to be the 13th Secretary of Education, comes as Trump (R) has said He wants McMahon to “put herself out of a job” amid His ambitions to Shut the Education Department.
McMahon is a fierce Trump Loyalist who Co-Chaired the Trump (r)-Vance (r) Transition, served in the Trump’s First Administration, and Chaired the Trump-aligned America First Policy Institute. Upon Her Swearing-In, she’ll be Tasked with Dismantling The Agency, bolster School Choice, and Root-Out Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Schools.
Trump pledged to return Education to the States, and Free American Students from the Education Bureaucracy through school Choice. In written Responses to Democratic Senators, McMahon said She “wholeheartedly” agrees with and Supports Trump’s Objective that “bureaucracy in Washington should be abolished” when asked if She Supports Trump’s calls to Close the Department.
The former World Wrestling Entertainment Executive’s Confirmation comes amid Growing Discontent from Republican Lawmakers over Declining Test Scores, ballooning Complaints of Antisemitism on College Campuses, and concerns over Federal Student Aid Management.
