U.S. House Elections Balance of Power for 2024


Control of the House is in Limbo Wednesday, as Votes in several Critical Races continue to be Tallied.

All 435 Seats in the U.S. House of Representatives were on the Ballot in the 2024 Election, and which ever Party wins Control of the House will likely have a slim Majority, making every Seat Crucial to a Majority.

The Balance of Power is likely to come down to the Results in about 40 Races.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Democrats were Projected to Win at least 203 Seats and Republicans 211 Seats.

A Party needs 218 Seats in order to have the Majority.

House Democrats need to Flip Four Republican-held Districts, while also Winning every Seat they currently hold, to Retake the Majority they Lost in 2022.

Republicans currently have a narrow Majority in the House, with 220 Seats, while Democrats control 212 Seats, with Three Vacancies.
