Of the more than 2,100 Names the Iowa Secretary of State sent out to County Election Leaders, as Individuals who have Voted in Elections after telling the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) they were Not U.S. Citizens, 150 Names are on the Voting Rolls in Linn County.
Sunday evening, Linn County Auditor Joel Miller said that He has confirmed through State and Federal Agencies, that 134 of those Individuals are Naturalized Citizens and are Eligible to Vote.
"At most, we will challenge 16 persons on the list, and only if they early voted via absentee, or show up to vote on Election Day." Pate said.
Johnson County Election Officials sent a Letter to All Registered Voters on the List there, to Alert them their Vote could be Challenged. They urged them to bring Proof of Citizenship to the Polls, in order to Avoid having to fill out a Provisional Ballot.
