Türkiye Backs Return of All Occupied Territories to Ukraine


Yalçın Topçu, Turkish Politician and former Minister of Culture and Tourism, made this Statement at the Meeting with the Deputy Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Nariman Dzhelyal.

"Türkiye which supports Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence, also advocates on all platforms that the return of the occupied territories, including the Crimea, is a requirement of international law," He said.

"Türkiye seeks an end to the ongoing occupation and war in Ukraine, Gaza, and Lebanon, and firmly advocates for this on all international platforms, contributing to the establishment of lasting peace in our region and the world for the future of all humanity."

In addition, those present at the Meeting expressed hope that Türkiye will assist in the Release of Crimean Tatars, Military Personnel, and Civilians from Ukraine who are being held in Russian Captivity.

"It is very important to combine the efforts of both the state and civil society," Denis Zolotaryov, an Advisor to the Ukrainian Embassy in Türkiye, said. "Ukrainian public organizations do their best to protect the rights of Ukrainian citizens."

Türkiye supports the Return of the Crimea to Ukraine, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Confirmed, during the Fourth Crimean Platform Summit on Sept. 11th.
