NV High Court Rules Mail Ballots Without Postmark Will be Counted

Mail Ballots that are Delivered after Election Day, with No Postmark will still Count in the 2024 Election, after a Ruling Monday, from the Nevada Supreme Court.

The State's High Court, affirmed a Lower Court Ruling and Denied the Republican National Committee's (RNC) request for a Preliminary Injunction in the Case.

"Rejecting timely mail ballots because of postal service omissions cuts against the strong public interest in exercising the right to vote," Justices wrote, that I agree with.

The RNC, Trump Campaign, and Nevada GOP Sued, in an attempt to Block such Ballots from being Counted. The Court held Oral Arguments in this Case earlier this month, with GOP Lawyers arguing that Mail Ballots tend to favor Democrats.

Attorneys Representing the State, argued that if a Postmark is Missing or Unclear, the Benefit of the Doubt should go to the Voter.

Justices Cadish, Stiglich, Lee, Parraguirre, and Bell, wrote the Majority Ruling, with Justices Herndon and Pickering Concurring for different Reasons.

I always said that having the Voter Date the Mail Ballot was not necessary because of the Postmark, and they could put any Date.
