Trump Campaign Rejects Vice President Debate

Trump's Campaign said that it will Not have a Vice-Presidential Debate, because they do Not know "who the Democrat nominee for Vice President is going to be."

Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for Re-Election alongside President Biden, has accepted potential Dates and Times for a Debate, hosted by CBS News later this Summer.

Harris spoke to Trump's Vice President Nominee, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, on Tuesday, but that the Two did Not settle on Terms for a potential Debate.

In a Statement on Wednesday, Brian Hughes, Senior Advisor for the Trump Campaign, responded to Questions around the potential Vice-Presidential Debate Dates saying, "We don't know who the Democrat nominee for Vice President is going to be, so we can't lock in a date before the convention."

The Trump Campaign Advisor continued by saying that Locking in a Vice-Presidential Debate, would be "Unfair" to "whoever Kamala Harris picks as her running mate."

Hughes specifically named California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), Illinois Governor JB Prtizker (D), and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) as potential options.
