Australia Military Aid Package For Ukraine


The Australian Government will Provide Ukraine with an additional $250 million in Military Aid. This marks the Largest Contribution to the Military efforts since Russia's Invasion.

In addition to Financial Assistance, Australia will also provide a "small number" of Personnel for a New NATO Command for Ukraine, consisting of 700 Personnel for Training and Security Assistance.

The Australian Military Package includes Guided Missiles, Anti-Aircraft Missiles, Anti-Tank Weapons, Ammunition, and a Shipment of Footwear.

According to the Government, Australia's Total Ssupport amounts to $1.3 billion, including $1.1 billion for the Ukrainian Military.

Last year, the U.S. and Australia Agreed to establish a Joint Intelligence Center.

During that Meeting, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Defense Minister Richard Marles, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, jointly condemned Russia's Invasion of Ukraine and called on Russia to "immediately and completely" Withdraw its Troops beyond Internationally Recognized Borders.

Additionally, this year Australia decided to Allocate $20 million to strengthen Ukraine's Energy system, instead of the Coal that Kyiv had previously Requested.
