The “Trump Links” sign, a prominent feature visible to Motorists passing over the Whitestone Bridge for nearly a decade, was taken down ahead of Unveiling the Course’s New Bally Links.
This change follows the Trump Organization’s decision to Transfer Golf Course Operations to Bally’s Corporation, a Gaming and Entertainment company, with plans for a Casino in New York. The Trump Organization has been Managing the 18-hole Public Course since 2015.
In September, 2023, the Trump Organization sold the Operating Rights of the Golf Course to Bally’s, for $60 million.
Donald Trump Jr. said during the New York Fraud Trial, that Managing the Golf Course had incurred substantial Costs, and He was uncertain if it had turned a Profit.
