NY’s Highest Court Denied Trump's Appeal Of Gag Order

Trump's Legal Team, asked to Lift the Gag Order placed on Trump, in the New York Attorney General’s Civil Fraud Case.

Previously, New York’s Appellate Court had Restored Judge Arthur Engoron’s Order, which forbids Trump and His Lawyers from Publicly commenting on the Courtroom Personnel in the concluded $370 million Trial, as of November 2023.

The New York Court of Appeals Dismissed the Appeal, noting that it doesn’t raise any significant Constitutional Questions.

The judge had already Fined Trump Twice for breaching the Gag Order.

“On the Court’s own motion, appeal dismissed, without costs, upon the ground that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved. Motion for a stay dismissed as academic,” New York’s Top Court wrote.

Originally imposed by Engoron in October, 2023, the Order Restricts Trump from Publicly Discussing Court Staff, following His multiple Remarks about a Court Clerk He claimed was Biased.

Last year, the Judge determined Trump’s Liability for Fraud in the Civil Case, and is set to Finalize a Decision on Damages and Six other Claims by Month’s End.

He could Stop Trump from doing Business in New York, and Five years for His Two Oldest Sons. He could force Trump to Sell Assists to Pay the Fine's Value.

Trump’s Attorneys have voiced Grievances about the Conduct of the Attorney General’s Office and the Judge, including His Clerk, throughout the Three-Month Trial.

They’ve also expressed their Intention to Challenge Engoron’s Verdict.
