A New Florida Legislative Proposal would provide $5 million in State Funds to Trump, to help Pay His Legal Fees, from numerous Legal Cases.
Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis (R) announced on Monday, that Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia (R-37th District), filed the Legislation to propose the Freedom Fighters Fund.
Patronis released a Statement calling for others to Rally around Fellow "Florida Man" Trump.
"We’ve got a Florida Man – Donald Trump – running for President, and he’s facing ongoing legal challenges from Democrats in New York, Washington DC, and Atlanta," Hhe said. "The Left is really good at weaponizing the courts, and because President Biden is so unpopular, they’re not just trying to beat Trump at the ballot box, they’re trying to throw him behind bars, which is outrageous."
Patronis argued that providing the Funds to Trump actually makes good Fiscal sense.
"If we can help and support a Florida candidate for the White House, that’s just good from a dollars and cents perspective," He said. "From all the decisions the federal government makes with regard to military installations, to roads, to disaster aid – it’s in Florida’s best interest to make sure their champion for the President is allowed a fair shot at the White House without being taken down by some fake witch-hunt."
Garcia, who founded the Grassroots Pro-Trump Group Latinos for Trump, echoed the Points in a separate Statement, declaring it would be Beneficial for Florida to have a Floridian in the Oval Office.
"Having a Floridian in the White House is good for our state – and anything we can do to support Florida Presidential candidates, like President Trump, will not only benefit our state, but our nation," the State Senator said.
The Fund would immediately provide $5 million, which would be pulled from the Public Campaign Finance Matching Funds Programs. Subsequent Funds would be collected through a Donation Service via Someone's Driver's License Registration. This means in all likelihood, that Registering through the DMV would provide an Option of Giving-To the Freedom Fighters Fund.
The Bill does Not have a State House Companion, often a Sign that the Legislation Won’t Pass, during the 60-day Florida Lawmaking Session that Ends March 8th.
The Fund would Not just Support Trump though, as other "Credible Candidates" would be able to Qualify for Funds, based on the State's CFO.
The Proposal dropped just One day after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Suspended His own Presidential Campaign and Endorsed Trump.
