Study Finds Illegal Alien Households On Taxpayer-Funded Welfare

A recent Analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), reveals that nearly 60% of Households led by Illegal Immigrants, use some form of Welfare, while about 52% of Households, of Legal Immigrants also use Welfare, compared to fewer than 40% of Native-born American Households.

The Study Highlights, that Immigrant-led Households use more Food Stamps, Medicaid Benefits, and the Earned Income Tax Credit, than Native-Born Households.

The Report comes as the Foreign-Born Population in the U.S., reaches Record Highs under Biden, with an Increase of 4.5 Million since January 2021.

“This is primarily because the American welfare system is designed in large part to help low-income families with children, which describes a large share of immigrants,” CIS Researchers Reported.

Compared to Households Headed by the U.S. born, Immigrant-Headed Households have especially High use of:

- Food Programs, 36% vs. 25% for the U.S. born.

- Medicaid, 37% vs. 25% for the U.S. born.

- Earned Income Tax Credit 16% vs. 12% for the U.S. born.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, American Voters continuously tell Pollsters they want Cuts to overall Immigration, mostly Legal Immigration.

The Latest Survey from Rasmussen Reports showed 56% of likely Voters want Legal Immigration Levels cut to at least 750,000 Admissions a year, including a Plurality who said they want to see Fewer than 500,000 Admissions a year.

The Findings coincide with ongoing Public Sentiment favoring Reductions in Overall Immigration Levels, particularly Legal Immigration.
