The Colorado jSupreme Court Stayed their Decision until the State’s Jan. 4th, 2024, Ballot Certification Deadline.
The Pause will extend Indefinitely until a Supreme Court Appeal is decided.
But if Trump Secures the Nomination, he will have a Colorado fight, where He Lost by nearly 14 Percentage Points in 2020.
A cleverly timed Stay on their own Ruling, lets Colorado Justices, pass the Decision to the Supreme Court.
On the off chance the Supreme Court Declines to Hear the Case or Affirms their Ruling, expect other Democrats Ststes to follow.
Colorado’s Supreme Court has Upheld State Restrictions on Gun Rights, including a sweeping Ban on Large-Capacity Magazines.
States such as Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota, have Appeals in Progress, seeking the same outcome as Colorado.
Some say, Trump hasn’t been Convicted of Insurrection. But they ignore the 14th Amendment's Section 3, indicates a Conviction is Not needed.
Some say, Congress should Decide. It does, the 14th Amendment's Section 3 says, Congress with a 2/3rd Vote in both Houes, can Pardon Trump.
But, the Republican Party, could decide to use a Caucus, to bypass the Ballot issue, like they are doing in Iowa.
