Code Of Ethics For SCOTUS

Even though his wife Ginni Thomas had a connection to the Insurrection, Justice Clarence Thomas has Not Recused himself from any of the Cases involving January 6th.

Americans for Prosperity spent $1 million to get Justice Amy Coney Barrett on the Court, and she did Not Recuse herself from a Case in which they were the Defendant.

Multiple Justices have also Failed to Recuse themselves from Cases involving Corporations in which they hold Shares.

Supreme Court Justices are Not above the Law and should be held to the Highest Standards.

Currently, our Nation's Highest Court is Not bound by a Code of Ethics.

Supreme Court Justices should Not view themselves as Free to accept Lavish Gifts from Partisan actors, attend Political Fundraisers, and participate in Cases in which they have glaring Conflicts of Interest.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA, 7th Districts) have introduced, Judicial Ethics and Anti-Corruption Act (H.R. 7706) and (S.4177), a Bill that would hold Supreme Court Justices Accountable.
