The Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine, has underscored the dire consequences of Fossil Fuel Dependence, yet in the Southeastern U.S., the Dirty Energy Industry is intent on Bulldozing ahead with a dangerous Fracked Gas Pipeline that would keep us shackled to Climate-busting Fossil Fuels for Generations, and set us back in our Fight against Climate Change.
The Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) and the proposed Southgate Extension, would carry Fracked Gas from West Virginia through Virginia and into North Carolina.
It would:
- Harm Forests and Wildlife
- Jeopardizing Clean Water
- Threaten Communities’ Health and Safety
It’s a Financial Boondoggle providing Gas that nobody needs, at a time when we should be Investing in the Clean Energy Sources of the Future, and the good-paying Jobs they create.
We know we can Stop this Pipeline, because we’ve done it before.
After years of Pressure from Activists, last year the Biden Administration Canceled the Climate-busting Keystone XL Tar Sands Pipeline, for good.
