The Arizona Senate, on Tuesday, Censured State Sen. Wendy Rogers (R-6th District), after she spoke at a White Nationalist gathering, and said her Opponents should face a "newly built set of gallows."
The Censure was Approved with a 24-3 Vote, as Rogers sat listening, and at times smiling, while her Colleagues criticized her Conduct.
"You're really censuring them," Rogers said in a tweet, speaking of her Supporters. "I do not apologize. I will not back down. And I'm sorely disappointed in the leadership of this body for colluding with the Democrats to attempt to destroy my reputation."
Ahead of the Vote, she also tweeted, on Tuesday, that "today is the day where we find out if the Communists in the GOP throw the sweet grandma under the bus for being white."
Rogers, who's in her First Term as a State Senator, has established a National Reputation following her Support of Trump's False Claims that the 2020 Election was Stolen.
Her Censure came after Pressure within her Own Party Grew, when Rogers spoke at the America First Political Action Conference, a White Nationalist gathering, where she made the Comment.
"We do support First Amendment freedom of speech," Senate President Karen Fann (R-1st District) said
"We absolutely support it. We fight battles over it. But what we do not condone is members threatening each other. To ruin each other. To incite violence. To call us communists. We don't do that to each other," Fann added.
Some Democrats argued, that the Censure was Not enough, and that Rogers should be Removed from the Chamber entirely.
