Last fall, AT&T was urged to stop giving, Trump’s favorite Cable “News” channel, One America News (OAN), a Platform it can use to spread dangerous Election Disinformation on a Daily basis.
DirecTV, which AT&T is a Majority Shareholder, agreed to drop OAN in April.
Now, OAN is getting desperate. The Network knows its Financial Future is tied to AT&T, and is turning to Smear Tactics and a Lawsuit against DirecTV, to try to get AT&T to Reverse its decision.
Several Republican State Attorneys General, recently signed a Letter to AT&T, urging the Company to Renew its Contract with OAN.
The Letter, disregards the appalling Real-World Violence that OAN’s Election Lies have fueled, like the January 6th Insurrection, and the ongoing wave of Threats against Local Election Officials.
An OAN Host even urged his Viewers to dig up “dirt” on AT&T’s Board Chairman, in an effort to ramp up pressure on the Company.
