NYC RCV Bronx Special Elections Result


The next New York City, Rank-Choice-Voting (RCV) Special Elections is for, Open Seats on the City Council, in the Bronx's Districts 11th and 15th, on March 23rd, 2021.

The 11th District Contest was triggered by former Councilmember, Andrew Cohen’s Resignation in December 2020, after he was Elected to be a Judge in Bronx.

The 11th District Winner after Six Rounds:

Eric Dinowitz, Your Bronx Voice Party, 5,579 Votes

Mino Lora, Justice for All Party, 3,188 Votes

Jessica Haller, New Leadership Party

Daniel Padernacht, Community First Party

Kevin Pazmino, Patriot Party

Carlton Berkley, The People's Party

Total Votes = 8,767

The 15th District Contest was triggered by former Councilmember, Ritchie Torres, who went on to Win the 15th Congressional District Seat after Representing the Council District for Seven years. Torres was Sworn into Office on January 1st, 2021.

The 15th District Winner after Ten Rounds:

Oswald Feliz, People United Party, 1,766 Votes

Ischia J. Bravo, We Matter Party, 1,362 Votes

John Sanchez, Community First Party

Elisa Crespo, Jobs & Justice Party

Latchmi Devi Gopal, Go For The Bronx Party

Kenny G. Agosto, Empower People Party
