MI County Clerk Overrules Board to Use Dominion Voting Machines in Primary Election

The Clerk of Michigan's Antrim County, the Epicenter of lingering 2020 Litigation involving Dominion Voting Systems machines, will defy the wishes of the small Michigan County's Board of Commissioners and use Dominion's Electronic Tabulators in its Primary Election in May.

The Clerk, Sheryl Guy, issued a Press Release, on Monday, declaring that a Hand Tally without the use of Machines, which was the Preference of the Commissioners, because it would run Afoul of the "uniform voting system" Mandated by the State.

"Since the county Board of Commissioners does not have the authority to determine which voting system to use in Antrim County, and because as County Clerk, in consultation with Township Clerks, have the authority to decide which electronic voting system can be used in Antrim County, I cannot legally hold the May 2021 election with paper ballots counted by hand," Guy said.

Commissioners in Antrim County Rejected a Request last month from the Chief Election Officer, who sought $5,080 to hire Consultants to Prepare their Dominion Machines for the May 4th Election, and Voted unanimously to keep the Equipment "on ice", as they could Not replace the Hard Drives in the Machines at the Center of a Lawsuit.

At that time, Guy warned the Machines were Not "certified for use" as Required by the Michigan Secretary of State because of a Forensic Examination conducted in December 2020 as part of the November Election Lawsuit against the County. On Monday, Guy said the County, which has about 23,000 Residents, will use Existing Machinery and Loaned Equipment.

Following the 2020 General Election, Trump and his Allies claimed Dominion machines altered Votes despite Audits and Recounts in several States and Counties that used the Technology, Allegations that have been Denied by the Company. These Election Fraud Cases have been roundly Rejected by the Courts.

Antrim County gained outsize Attention after the November Election when it was revealed that Thousands of Votes were initially and Incorrectly Tabulated in favor of Biden. The Error was quickly Corrected and has since been attributed to Human Error, not to Flaws in Dominion Voting Machines, as Trump’s Legal Allies have alleged. Guy, a self-identified Trump Voter, took Responsibility for that Tabulation Mistake prior to the Election.

But Central Lake Township Resident William Bailey filed a Lawsuit against the County to Challenge a Local Marijuana Retailer Proposal that Passed by a wire-thin margin after a Retabulation that didn’t include Three damaged Ballots. Antrim County Circuit Judge, Kevin Elsenheimer, ruled that Bailey’s Legal Team, headed by Attorney Matthew DePerno, could Conduct an Examination of the County’s Voting Machines as part of the Lawsuit. The Team picked Allied Security Operations Group (ASOG), a Dallas-based Cybersecurity Firm, to Perform what it called a “forensic audit” of the Dominion Machines on Dec. 6th.

In a widely Panned report, ASOG concluded that Dominion Machines were “intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.” Because Dominion Voting Machines were involved, Trump’s Allies have homed in on the Case, and some of those who Conducted the Examination of Dominion Machines said they were tied to the Trump Team, according to Local Officials.

Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, was allowed to Intervene in the Case against the County with the help of the State's Attorney gGneral. Michigan Department of State Spokesman, Jake Rollow, Warned around the time of the Audit, that ASOG’s Primary Goal “is to continue spreading false information designed to erode the public’s confidence" in the 2020 Election. “By doing so, they injure our democracy and dishonor the 5.5 million Michigan citizens who cast ballots,” he added.

Dominion CEO, John Poulos, blasted the report in a Hearing with Michigan Lawmakers. Poulos Testified-Under-Oath that the Report was “categorically false” and was Released by a “biased group”.

Dominion has filed Multiple Defamation Lawsuits since the November Election, citing Claims about its Technology that caused "irreparable damage" to the Company's Name and Reputation, including a $1.3 Billion Suit against Former Trump Personal Lawyer Rudy Giuliani, a similar Suit against Lawyer Sidney Powell, and a $1 Billion Suit against MyPillow CEO, Mike Lindell.

At the end of March 2021, an Attorney for Dominion declined to Rule-Out that Trump could be Sued next.

A Hand-Count Audit in Antrim County found a Deviation of just a 12 Votes from the First Tabulation, with 9,759 Votes won by Trump and 5,959 going to Biden. Biden Won the State of Michigan and its 16 Electoral College Votes by roughly 150,000 Ballots.
