Stop Oil Companies from Destroying Utah's Public Lands

The Trump Administration auctioned off over 27,000 acres of Public Lands in Utah to Drilling and Mining Companies. These Leases will allow for Oil and Gas Drilling on Utah’s Public Lands for an entire Decade. The Leases could be Extended beyond Ten years based on the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Discretion.

These Public Lands were practically given away, with Leases starting at the rock bottom Cost of $2.00 per acre, so that wealthy Oil and Gas Companies can Benefit from Short-Term Profit.

The Trump Administration recently released the List of Companies that bought the Leases, and the Bid Prices for which the Leases were Purchased. The Largest Bid on an Acre was just $14.00.

New Legislation takes time, and we need to hold these Companies accountable NOW. We must put as much Pressure as possible on these Companies to Stop Drilling and Mining from taking place on our Public Lands.

Drilling and Mining forever Change the Landscapes they touch, and at a time when our Shared Lands are more Important than ever, we cannot allow them to be Destroyed for Profit of a Wealthy few.

CLICK HERE to take action now and tell these Companies NOT to Drill and Mine on the Lands that belong to All of Us.

Thank you for taking Action. With your Help, we are working every day to keep Public Lands in Public Hands, and to Protect and Create cherished Green Spaces where People can go to Relax, enjoy Nature, and Explore.

Your Advocacy and Support make All the Difference.
