AG Barr Gets Four Pinocchios for His False Statements About Vote-by-Mail Fraud

Attorney General, Willian Barr, stated on CNN: “Elections that have been held with mail have found substantial fraud and coercion. For example, we indicted someone in Texas — 1,700 ballots collected from people who could vote, he made them out and voted for the person he wanted to.”

Neither Claim is True.

Elections held by Mail in the United States have been almost entirely Free of Fraud.

The Five States: Colorado; Hawaii; Oregon; Utah; and Washington, use All-Mail Ballots as their Primary Method of Voting, None Reports any Issues.

The Texas Case Barr cited as Proof, involves One Fraudulent Ballot, which was Caught, not 1,700 Ballots.

The Case was not even Close to what happened in the Case, which was never under the Justice Department's Purview in the first place. according to Andy Chatham, a Former Assistant District Attorney who worked on the Investigation in 2017.

"I was like, 'What? Why would he talk about that case?'" Chatham said when Asked about his Reaction to hearing Barr invoke the Investigation.

"This wasn't a case of voter fraud. This was a case of what we think was a political consultant trying to scam candidates."

As I have said in the past, it's nor Voter Fraud, but Fraud by the Candidates, their Campaigns, or Election Officials.
