FL All Voters Vote Campaign

After Collecting over One million Petition Signatures, and fending off Court Challenges by both Major Parties, All Voters Vote in Primary Elections for State Legislature, Governor, and Cabinet (Amendment 3), will be on the November Ballot in Florida.

Amendment 3 proposes Implementing a Top-Two Primary for All State Races, including those for Governor, Cabinet, and Legislature. Candidate’s Party Affiliation may Appear on the Ballot as provided by Law. Effective January 1st, 2024.

In a Top-Two Primary, ALL Candidates Appear on a Single Ballot, and ALL Voters Vote. The Top-Two Candidates receiving the Most Votes Advance to the General Election. As Florida is currently one of only twelve states that still have closed primaries, approval of this amendment would be a huge step forward for Florida’s 3.6 million independent voters.

Florida Open Primaries is a new PAC created for the Sole Purpose of Educating the Public about Amendment 3 and Promoting its Passage in November. The First Step in these Efforts was to produce this Video and Disseminated on Social Media.

It will be a tragedy if this initiative passes. Assuming it works the way it works in California and Washington, it will keep minor party candidates off the November ballot, except in races in which only one major party person files for the primary.
