Some Minor Party Presidential Candidates

Green Party

On June 21st, the Michigan Green Party and the Lavender Caucus of the Green Party chose Delegates to the National Convention.

The Results boosted Howie Hawkins.

According to his Campaign, he now has enough Pledged Delegates to be assured of the Presidential Nomination for 2020.

Angela Walker, a Former Socialist Party Vice Presidential Nominee, will be his Vice Presidential Candidate.

Reform Party

On June 20th, the Reform Party held an On-Line Presidential Convention.

Rocky De La Fuente, who was the Party’s Nominee in 2016, is again the Party’s Nominee.

The Vice-Presidential Nominee is Darcy Richardson.

The Reform Party is only on the Ballot in Florida. It has No Party Officers in Mississippi any longer, so has Lost its Qualified Status there.

Alliance Party

The Alliance Party is an American Political Party that was Formed in 2018 via the Merger of the: the American Moderates Party; the American Party of South Carolina; and the Modern Whig Party. The Modern Whig Party had itself been a Merger of: the American Centrist Party; the American Moderate Party of California; the Center Party; the National Centrist Party; the Veterans Party; and the USA Party. In 2019, they also folded in: the American Alliance Party; and the Independence Party of Minnesota. 2020 brought in: the Independent Party of Connecticut; and reportedly the Reform Party of Florida. The Party is Registered with the Federal Election Commission as a Political Action Committee (Pac) with a Non-Contribution Account.

On April 25th, 2020, the Party Nominated their First Presidential Slate, using an Online Convention, with Rocky De La Fuente chosen for President and Darcy Richardson for Vice-President by a Vote of 24-2.

Greg Orman, an Independent Candidate for U.S. Senate in 2014 and Governor of Kansas in 2018, gave the Keynote Speech at the Convention.

UPDATE

The Natural Law Party of Michigan, the Only State Affiliate of the Natural Law Party that is still on the Ballot anywhere, announced on June 23rd that it has Nominated Rocky De La Fuente for President and Darcy Richardson for Vice-President.
