UN Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate

On Sept. 25th, 2019, the UN-led Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) completed Deliberations and Released a New Blockbuster Report outlining how the Climate Crisis is Reshaping our World as we know it.

The Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate, the Scientific Term for High Mountain Snowy Areas and Polar Regions, Paints a Grim Picture.

Our Changing Climate is Harming Fisheries, Coral Reefs, Coastlines, and the People that rely upon them to Survive. From Warming Oceans that Wreak Havoc on our Marine Ecosystems and Lead to Deadly Hurricanes and Storms, to Accelerating Sea-Level Rise that will Lead to Yearly, Devastating Floods across the U.S., and we are at a Critical Tipping Point.

The Bad News? We’ve simply waited for too Long to Reduce Emissions and will be forced to Grapple with Impacts that can No Longer be Avoided.

Doing Nothing will result in Catastrophe. As you know, Water is Integral to Human Survival. The Good News? It is still possible, albeit Expensive, to Manage these Negative Effects.
