NY Automatic Voter Registration Bills

New York Automatic Voter Registration (AVR) is close to the finish line.

The New York Senate Passed AVR last night, and the State Assembly could hold its Final Vote to send AVR to the Governor's Desk.

The AVR Bills, S6457 and A8280, would Register the Broadest Groups of New Yorkers while Protecting the most Vulnerable Populations, and could turn 1 Million New Yorkers into 1 Million New Voters.

With the possibility of being Implemented at all National Voter Registration Act Agencies, this Bill would be the most Expansive and Inclusive in the Country in terms of the Agencies and Populations included.
