Emoluments Case Against Trump Update

Tuesday, the Presiding U.S. District Court Judge ruled that Members of Congress can begin Obtaining Financial Information, Interviews, and other Key Records from the Trump Organization as part of a Lawsuit under the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

This is a crucial Victory in a continued Legal Battle against President Trump for receiving continuous Benefits and Payments from Foreign and State Governments through his Ownership Stake in the Trump Organization since he took Office in January 2017.

This is strictly Forbidden under our Constitution.

In his Ruling, the Judge articulated what the Law makes clear: There is absolutely No Reason to Delay one more day in ensuring that President Trump is held Accountable for his Violation of the Constitution’s Preeminent Anti-Corruption Provision.

And that Congress has Failed in its Duties. Under the Foreign Emoluments Clause, Congress must Approve, on an Individual Bases, each Benefit or Payment. Under the State Emolument Clause, there is No Approval Process, its Not Allowed.

We know that the President has taken Uncounted Benefits from Saudi Arabia and other Foreign Powers around the World for his Hotels, Condos, and his Rental Properties. Those Payments Violate the Constitution, and this Lawsuit is crucial to holding him Accountable.

President Trump has proven that when it comes to a choice between His own Personal Gain and what’s Best for our Country, he will choose Himself every time.

He is Not above the Law, and it’s imperative that we put an End to this Corruption.
