CO National Popular Vote Interstate Compact Bill

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact would guarantee the Presidency to the Candidate who Receives the Most Popular Votes in All 50 States and the District of Columbia. To accomplish this, you will need enough States Electoral Votes, currently 270, to send Delegate to the U.S. Electoral College.

Currently, it has been Enacted into Law in 11 States, and the D.C., with 172 Electoral Votes: CA, CT, D.C., HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, RI, VT, and WA.

In January 2019, Colorado State Senator Mike Foote(D-17th District) is Sponsoring the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact Bill (SB19-042 ), and State Representatives Emily Sirota (D-19th District) and Jeni Arndt (D-53rd District) are Sponsoring the Bill in the House of Representatives.

If Colorado Approve this Bill, it will be the 12th State plus D.C. representing 181 Electoral Votes.
