NY Ballot Qualified Parties after Midterm Election Update


In New York, Qualified Party Placement is Determined by the Total Number of Votes a Party Received in the 2018 Governor's Race. This will determine the Parties Position for the Next Four years.

As of today, the New York Board of Elections has reported the Results of 15,453 Precincts out of a Total 15,529 Precincts, with 5,792,005 Votes Cast.

New Qualified Parties and their Position on Future Ballots

Democratic Party (DEM) - 3,158,459 Votes

Republican Party (REP) - 1,824,581 votes

Conservative Party (CON) - 238,578 Votes

Working Families Party (WOR) - 106,008 Votes

Green Party (GRE) - 95,716. Votes

Libertarian Party (LBT) - 90,816

Independence Party (IND) - 63,518 Votes

Serve America Movement (SAM) - 51,367 Votes

Lost Ballot Access

Reform Party (REF) - 26,069 Votes

Women's Equality Party (WEP) - 25,510
