NY Ballot Qualified Parties after Midterm Election


In New York, Qualified Party Placement is Determined by the Total Number of Votes a Party Received in the 2018 Governor's Race. This will determine the Parties Position for the Next Four years.

As of today, the New York Board of Elections has reported the Results of 15,543 Precincts out of a Total 15,598 Precincts, with 5,688,068 Votes Cast.

New Qualified Parties and their Position on Future Ballots

Democratic Party (DEM) - 3,157,614 Votes

Republican Party (REP) - 1,823,821 votes

Conservative Party (CON) - 238,499 Votes

Working Families Party (WOR) - 105,980 Votes

Green Party (GRE) - 95,668. Votes

Libertarian Party (LBT) - 90,739

Independence Party (IND) - 63,498 Votes

Serve America Movement (SAM) - 51,323 Votes

Lost Ballot Access

Reform Party (REF) - 26,061 Votes

Women's Equality Party (WEP) - 25,496
