Keystone XL Pipeline Construction Begins in 2019

The Prep Work for the Keystone XL Pipeline has already started: Transporting Pipe, Wiping out Vegetation, and getting a great big Green Light from Trump.

Starting early next year, they'll start Tearing up the Ground as the Keystone XL Pipeline snakes its way across Pristine Prairies.

The dirty oil from tar sands that would be transported through the heart of the U.S. is nothing short of a carbon bomb that — if processed and transported — would spew unsustainable amounts of carbon into our atmosphere.

If we Fail to Elect New Leaders to the House and Senate, there's No Stopping it.

The Dirty Oil from Canadian Tar Sands that would be Transported through the Heart of the U.S. is nothing short of a Carbon Bomb that, if Processed and Transported, would Spew Unsustainable Amounts of Carbon into our Atmosphere.

But a Pro-Environment Majority can Stop the Keystone XL Pipeline by Controlling:

1. Investigations: Installing a Pro-Environment Majority in the House and Senate means we can Push for Investigations into the Process of the Keystone XL Pipeline's Approval. Those Investigations can, and will, put the Spotlight on how the Pipeline was Pushed Through and we can Expose any potential Wrongdoing by the Players involved.

2. Budget: We can ask our Newly Elected Members in the House and Senate to Push for Provisions in the Budget Process that would Eliminate Funding for anything Related to the Keystone XL Pipeline's Construction. The Budget Process is a Key way for the Environmental Community to Stall the Pipeline Process.

3. Judges: The Keystone XL Pipeline has numerous Lawsuits filed to stop it, including a New Bid from, the Fort Belknap Indian Community of Montana and the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, contending there was No Effort to Study how the 1,200-Mile Pipeline Project would Affect their Water Systems and Sacred Lands. That's why it is so important we have a Majority in the Senate to Prevent the Rubber-Stamping of Unqualified or Partisan Judges who Support Polluters instead of People.

We are in the Final Stages of this Election and that's why it's so important to Vote.

We must Flip the House and Senate to a Pro-Environment Majority!
